Baseball Gear

For a limited time we have 3 team apparel shops set up through BSN Sports. They will only be up for 11 more days and then all orders will print and ship. We also make a couple of dollars for each item to go towards our athletic programs. There are 3 different shops so I will need to post this 3 times but they all lead to different shops (Baseball, Softball and General Laker gear).

We have a total of 6 teams signed up between the three divisions. We need at least 4 per division to continue with the fundraiser. Saturday is looking like a rainy wet day, why not come out and compete in a basketball tournament and support two high school classes! If we don't have enough interest by Wednesday the 27th we will need to cancel.

Following February break, the second graders began their typing lessons with Ms. Breau. They've been honing their keyboarding skills, focusing on hand placement and accuracy, all the while becoming acquainted with using a laptop. This not only aids in their smooth transition from iPads in second grade to laptops in third grade but also enhances their overall computer literacy.

In our first year participating in the Scripps Spelling Bee program, Maggie emerged as the champion, proudly claiming the titles for both GCS and Piscataquis County. With grace and skill, she then represented us admirably at the Maine Scripps Spelling Bee in Brunswick last Saturday. CONGRATULATIONS, Maggie for this remarkable accomplishment. We are PROUD of you!!

Join us today at 3:00pm for another captivating performance of The Lion King, Jr.! Be amazed by artistically crafted costumes adorned with masks and props that truly bring the story to life. Escape the chill and enjoy this unforgettable masterpiece!

Due to the approaching storm, the Saturday, 3/23 performance of The Lion King, Jr. has been rescheduled to Sunday, 3/24 at 3 pm.
The Friday, 3/22 performance will proceed as planned at 6:30pm tonight!
Our students and directors have excelled with Broadway-worthy costumes and performances. Make sure not to miss this extraordinary production!

Good Morning - School is closed today - Thursday, March 21, 2024 - due to inclement weather and road conditions. TCTC is closed today, as well. Stay safe!

GCS will be closed on Monday, April 8, 2024, in light of the total solar eclipse. Ensuring the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, particularly given the timing of the eclipse and the anticipated increase in traffic flow into Greenville.

Reminder: High School and Middle School Winter Sports awards banquet tomorrow (Tuesday 3/19) at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.
